PSA: Empty Your OneDrive Storage Before Microsoft Does

You might recall that Microsoft announced a while ago that it was slashing the amount of storage that you get with OneDrive because of abuse. Today is “D-Day” if you haven’t cleared out your OneDrive Storage to get it below 5GB which is the limit for free users, or 1TB which is the limit for those who are paying up for the service via Office 365. Because if you haven’t, Microsoft will do it for you and you will not like it if they do.

Now, if you really need all that storage and don’t want to pay for it, you still have options. Google for one offers 15GB of storage for free. Dropbox is free for 2GB, but you can earn more space on your Dropbox account by hopping through various hoops. If that’s worth it to you, then go for it.
