Sonos Radio Rolling Out Via A Software Update Today

Sonos is launching Sonos Radio, a free, ad-supported streaming radio service, available to Sonos customers in more than 10 million homes rolling out today with a software update. Nearly half of all listening time on Sonos is dedicated to radio and Sonos Radio was built as a new way for customers to explore radio and discover new music and services on Sonos.

Starting today, Sonos customers will be able to: 

Listen to more than 60,000 stations from multiple streaming partners in one place. Complementing the 100+ streaming options available on Sonos, the new service introduces a holistic and cohesive way to explore radio. Listen to music, news, sports from around the world from long-time partners, including TuneIn, iHeartRadio (North America), and more partners to come. UK-based radio service Global and Radio.com in the US will be added soon. 

Sonos Original Programming Coming Soon: 

Sonos Radio will feature original programming that includes music handpicked by DJs and artists. Sonos’ original programming is available in X and will roll-out to other countries over time. 

Sonos will also debut its new sonic branding created by iconic composer Philip Glass with Sonos Radio.

Global radio stations will be available for all customers worldwide. Sonos’ original programming will be available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia beginning today. Support for additional countries will follow.
