Is It Just Me Or Is Chrome Releasing An “Emergency” Update Every Few Weeks?

Yesterday I got the latest Chrome emergency update hitting my test PCs and my test Macs. By my count that’s the eighth one of the year which is insane. This one which is tracked as CVE-2023-7024 was the eighth Chrome zero-day patched by Google this year. The flaw was described as a heap buffer overflow in WebRTC. Now, on one hand it’s good that Google is patching these flaws. But at the same time it’s bad that they have so many. Thus you might want to pick another option for your browsing needs. Just a thought.
