I got this question in my inbox a few minutes ago:

Hello IT Nerd. I just purchased a Z10 not too long ago. Given their problems and their desire to focus on the corporate market, should I dump my BlackBerry for something else?

No. There’s no need to do that. Yet.

For now these products are not going anywhere. A year or two from now, you’ll likely have to switch because it may be possible that BlackBerry won’t be supporting you or your Z10 anymore. But by then the contract that you have with your cell phone company will be up and you’ll be switching to something else anyway. So if you’re happy with your BlackBerry, I say hang on to it.
