Twitter started trading as a public company today. Before the start of trading, the news came out that shares in the microblogging company would be set at $26 which would create a valuation of just over $18 billion. That I thought was insane given that the company has never, ever made money. But it got out of control when trading started. As I type this, the current value of the stock is $45.15 which is a 73% increase.
So, here’s the question. Is Twitter overvalued? Vote away!
