I’m honestly not sure how to read this. In a recent announcement from Microsoft, it admitted that out of 21 resellers that it accused of pirating Microsoft software, not one was pirating Vista. They were pirating XP and Office, but not Vista. Now this could be due to the fact that Vista is allegedly harder to pirate than XP, or it could be because nobody wants Vista. It’s hard to tell. Perhaps more of these announcements will be needed to see if there’s a trend here.

Is Vista So Unwanted That Nobody Bothers To Pirate It?
