As I write this, there is less than one hour to go for the World download record attempt that has been organized by Mozilla. You can check the progress here and if you haven’t already done so, you can do your bit by downloading Firefox from here.

UPDATE: It’s over. Mozilla reports that there were over 8 million downloads in 24 hours. The Guinness orginazion will now validate the record attempt.
