Techcrunch is reporting that Microsoft and Yahoo are talking again and they claim to have “multiple sources” that have confirmed this (I’m guessing that this is one of those sources). If this is true, it would show that Yahoo CEO Jerry Yang wants to save his skin really get some sort of deal done in the interests of saving his skin maximizing shareholder value, not to mention keeping Carl Icahn at bay which would save his skin.
This comes as the New York Post is reporting that Yahoo is hiring. That’s no shock given that Yahoo employees are leaving in droves.
UPDATE: Yahoo is on the road delivering spin to investors on the Microsoft/Icahn circus.
