iPod Touch/iPhone Firmware 2.0.2 Released…. More “Bug Fixes” [UPDATED]

WTF is the deal with Apple releasing updates that they describe as having “bug fixes?” If there wasn’t any “bug fixes” in their updates, we wouldn’t download and install them now would we? Just tell us what your updates fix so we don’t have to speculate about it.

Enough ranting.

Apple released the latest firmware for the iPod Touch and the iPhone just after 5PM Eastern today. It’s a large update (almost 250MB) so make sure you have something to read while it downloads. Word on the net is that this is NOT the fix for 3G reception issues. We’ll have to wait and see if that is the case. You can download the update from iTunes.

If you have any feedback about this update, please post a comment.

UPDATE: It does not fix 3G reception issues. There may be other issues as well.

The supposed 3G issues are due to AT&T’s shitty network not the I-phone. They have shit for 3G coverage. Get Verizon if you want 3G everywhere.
