According to All Things Digital, Yahoo is going to layoff up to 2000 people on Wednesday. Originally announced by soon to be ex-CEO Jerry Yang during Yahoo’s last earnings call, the layoffs have been overshadowed by the news of Yang’s departure and the rumors of a Yahoo-Microsoft deal of some sort. So this shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone, but it’s still sad to see people lose their jobs.
