I had to post this as soon as I learned of it. This Tweet was posted yesterday on the Twitter feed of York Regional Police:
In short, @Sunith_DB8R wanted some weed and was wanting to have it delivered. So in his infinite wisdom he Tweeted his request. Too bad the York Regional Police (York Region is north of Toronto) saw the Tweet and responded. But the fun didn’t end there. There was this Tweet that was posted by the police:
@JTreleving’s is Jim Treliving, who owns the T&M group of businesses – including Mr. Lube. Why is that important? @Sunith_DB8R works for Mr. Lube. Or he used to as he has been fired because of his ill advised Tweet.
Take home message: If you say something online, people are going to read it. If it’s inappropriate, it will end badly for you.
