Yesterday I mentioned an event by Rogers to support various youth-focused programs led by their non-profit partners across the country by giving them each a mobile tech unit which contains 5 tablets, a Rocket mobile hotspot and LTE connectivity provided by Rogers. All you had to do is use the hashtag #BrighterFuture and $1 would be donated for each use. According to Redboard, the event was very successful:
Thanks to you, we will be donating mobile tech units to each of our 52 non-profit partners across the country – a $250,000 commitment!
Impressive! This is going to make sure a lot of Canadian youth have a brighter future.
