ViewSonic announced the launch of the VX63Smhl series of gaming and multimedia displays. These displays have sleek designs that meet the expectations for demanding users. Available in 22- and 23-inch sizes, the VX63Smhl series offers premium features, including native Full HD 1080p resolution, “frameless” bezel, ViewSonic’s SuperClear IPS panel technology, versatile input options and Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) connectivity.
Both the VX2363Smhl-W and VX2263Smhl-W can be connected to MHL-enabled mobile devices, such as smart phones and tablets, with the integrated MHL port. This allows users to share digital content from mobile devices on a larger screen in Full HD resolution. With dual HDMI and VGA ports, VX63Smhl displays can link to multiple video sources, offering flexibility between entertainment and PC-related work content. The SuperClear image enhancement panel technology and 50,000,000:1 MEGA Dynamic contrast ratio ensures superior colour performance and reproduction from the IPS panel.
Both displays also have integrated features that ease comfort and reduce eye fatigue, such as Flicker-Free Technology and a Blue Light Filter. Flicker-Free Technology reduces screen flickering to a minimum at all brightness levels, helping to reduce eye strain that comes from long periods of viewing. ViewSonic’s proprietary Blue Light Filter allows users to dim the blue light levels to ease potential eye strain. Both the VX2363Smhl-W and VX2263Smhl-W also feature exclusive ViewMode settings that deliver five preset user options, including “text,” “game,” “movie,” “web,” and “mono.” These scenario presets incorporate ViewSonic’s proprietary colour gamma adjustment to produce the best combination of colour and brightness modifications for the best viewing experience.
The VX2363Smhl-W (23-inch) will be available for an MSRP of $238.00 (USD) and the VX2263Smhl-W (22-inch) for an MSRP of $222.00 (USD). Both displays will be available in June 2014.
