Desjardins Group today announced that they are to be the first financial institution in the Province of Quebec to offer a mobile payment system via a variety of carriers. Currently supported are Bell Mobility, Rogers and Virgin Mobile networks. Other mobile carriers, including TELUS, will soon be added.
The new payment system called Desjardins Mobile Payments with several smartphones, including:
- Samsung Galaxy S3
- Samsung Galaxy S4
- Samsung Galaxy S5
- Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini
- Samsung Galaxy Note II
- Samsung Galaxy Note III
- HTC One (M7)
- BlackBerry Bold 9900
Other phones will be supported soon.
