Building on its European success, BeeWi, an expert in connected devices, has announced an agreement with Canadian company GB Micro Electronics to distribute of its products.
Among the first products launched, the latest generation of BeeWi Smart Home LED bulbs that can be used locally or remotely to light in a room. With its free application SmartPad, using the connected products is very simple. Just connect via Bluetooth Low Energy or internet from their smartphones or tablet to control the intensity or color of the bulb (White and RGB). The application can also be programmed to gradually turn on in the early morning for a gentle awakening.
Groups of bulbs can also be created enabling simultaneous control (On/Off, colors).
Like all BeeWi accessories, the connected bulbs use Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth Smart) technology, which combines optimized power consumption for the bulb, and a connection distance of 30 to 50 meters.
These bulbs are controlled locally through a SINGLE SmartPad application that also handles all the Connected Home accessories from BeeWi.
Developed and available for free in the 3 environments iOS, Android and Windows Phone, SmartPad includes all the functions needed to manage all the BeeWi home automation accessories:
– LED bulbs,
– Programmable electrical outlets
– Temperature and humidity sensors
