For the last couple of years, I have done a Holiday Gift Guide. So this year, I will focus on gifts that caught my eye from my all over the place. I will also give gift suggestions from the various items that I reviewed this year. So, without further delay, let’s get started.
- The Netatmo Welcome Camera is a very interesting camera that recognizes you and looks cool. But it also keeps your home safe by letting you know what’s going on. Take a look at one if have someone on your list who needs to keep an eye on what’s going on at home.
- While you’re at it, the Netatmo Weather Station is a handy way to get a handle of what the weather is going to be like at any time via a smartphone. It’s worth checking out too.
- The ZTE Axon is a premium smartphone with a bargain basement price. It’s got a great camera, takes selfies when you smile, and great battery life. It’s a great choice for someone who needs a smartphone.
- The Jackery Mini will keep a smartphone charged without taking up a lot of space or weight in a pocket or purse. It’s an low cost way of being a hero to a smartphone user on your list. If you need more power, try the ASUS ZenPower which packs a lot of power in a small package.
- The Otterbox Commuter Case For The iPhone 6 will keep an iPhone 6 safe from drops and other oddities of life. It has two parts to it along with a screen protector that are designed to take the hit so that your phone doesn’t. This is another way to be a hero to someone on your list that has a smartphone.
- The Nikon Coolpix S33 really should be on your list if you have someone who spends time in the outdoors. Take it from me, it will survive anything that one can throw at it. After all, I dropped it into a lake and it survived. Just make sure you buy the floating strap to go with it.
- The RHA MA450 Headsets For The iPhone/iPod/iPad are the best headsets that I’ve tried all year. They sound great and they won’t cost you a lot. That’s what I call a “win-win!”
- If someone on your list likes to travel with a lot of gadgets, the Olixar Travel Adapter With 4 USB Ports is a must get. This will allow you to recharge 4 devices anywhere on Earth. Take it from me, they’re really going to appreciate it.
- If someone on your list keeps losing stuff, try giving them a Tile to keep track of their stuff using their smartphone. They’ll be glad you did.
- If you have a woman on your list who has a notebook computer, they likely want a more stylish case than the standard fare that’s out there. Try the Herschel Strand Duffle which will allow them to let out their “girlie girl” while protecting their expensive notebook.
- For the guys, there’s the TYLT Energi+ Power Backpack which allows you to carry your stuff, protect it, and keep it charged too. Pretty cool.
- Finally, check out the Raspberry Pi Zero. It’s a computer smaller than a pack of mints and will only cost you $5. That’s not a misprint. Kids who want to get their hands dirty with computers along with the really curious will love this.
