Well, this isn’t going help Donald Trump in his attempt to become the President of the United States.
According to a report from cybersecurity writer Brian Krebs, Trump Hotel Collections has been hacked and credit card data stolen. Krebs said he learned of the hack when multiple people in the banking and financial sector told him patterns of fraudulent charges pointed to Trump Hotel Collection as a source of stolen card data. Krebs also points out that this is not the first time that the hotels owned by Trump have been the target of hackers as there has been a previous hack on the hotel chain’s payment system last July. Oh yeah, there’s the fact that Anonymous has declared “Total War” on Trump.
Seeing as Trump has the Wisconsin primary tonight and some big primaries in New York and California coming up, I think it would be a safe bet to believe that his opponents will bring up the fact that if he can’t secure his own businesses from hackers, how can he secure the country from hackers.
