Windows 10 Spring Creators Update Delayed Because Of Show Stopper Bug
If you’re waiting to download and install Microsoft’s latest update to their Windows 10 OS which has been dubbed the Spring Creators Update (Or Redstone 4 or RS4 if you’re super nerdy), you’ll have to wait a little bit longer. It was due to be shipped this past Tuesday with the rest of Microsoft’s patches that traditionally hit the streets on the second Tuesday of the month. But it didn’t and the reason why is this:
Got some more info on this: Microsoft was going to rollout on April 10, but found a blocking bug over the weekend that was bad enough to hold the release. Not sure if bug was fixed in 17133.73 or if it'll come in another patch. RS4 will likely begin rollout in a couple weeks now. https://t.co/qxcbHCdPUo

I don’t know what the bug is. And Microsoft isn’t saying. But it was clearly bad enough to stop the update from shipping. At least Microsoft isn’t tossing out bad code to the masses.
