Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg could be in very deep trouble. According to the Washington Post, the Federal Trade Commission is currently investigating Facebook and looking into whether the Facebook’s founder and CEO should be held liable for the company’s data mishandling and privacy issues. This is unusual as the FTC usually doesn’t go after execs. But the word on the street is that they want to do some not so subtle message sending by going after him.
I say it’s about time. I say make an example of this clown as this company needs to be punished and the best way to punish a company is to punish the guy who runs the joint. That would be him. And while they are at it, maybe they would want to bring in Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg into the mix seeing as she’s run interference for this guy for years. The bottom line is that I hope that the FTC follows through on this as this sort of action is long overdue.
