Sage advances partner AI strategy with AWS and AI Workspaces

Today at Sage Future for Partners in Atlanta, Sage is sharing the next evolution in that vision: AI Workspaces for Sage Intacct.

Sage’s new AI Workspaces unify financial data, workflows, internal controls, and specialized AI agents around specific finance roles. Rather than replacing human oversight, Sage-built agents and partner-built agents handle routine tasks and flag anomalies, allowing finance teams to review, guide, and approve critical decisions.

The first workspace—focused on Accounts Payable—enters a limited rollout with select customers this November.

The benefits of working within AI Workspaces include a seamless integration with the company’s growing agent portfolio, made up of:

  • Previously launched specialty finance agents including Finance Intelligence Agent, Close Agent, and Assurance Agent (available through the Sage Agent Marketplace)
  • Purpose-built agents for accounts payable, time entry, and nonprofit benchmarking
  • Planned future capabilities including Cash Agent and AR Agent

Additionally, today Sage and AWS announced continued progress in operationalizing agentic AI for mid-market finance teams and the developers who build for them, building directly on the expanded partnership first unveiled at Sage Future 2026.

With Sage Developer Solutions on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, partners now have the foundation to create agents that coordinate complex tasks, spot anomalies, and surface exceptions for human review. Wipfli’s new Job Insights Agent demonstrates that vision in action. Through Sage Copilot, the agent uses Sage Intacct and, where available, Procore data to surface job profitability, costs, billing and project performance.
