Yesterday, the folks at Rogers sent me news that the iPhone 5 is on sale until March 18. Customers can grab a 16GB iPhone 5 for $99.99 with a 3-yr FLEXtab agreement on select plans. But if you’re interested in Windows Phone 8 from Nokia, you can snag a Nokia DT-900 Wireless Charging Plate ($69.99 value) when you activate it on any Rogers wireless plan at participating Rogers locations.
Back to the iPhone 5 for a second. You can activate your brand new iPhone 5 (or any other device) on promo plans. Until April 1st, customers can get the $45/mo March Promo Plan which features 1,000 local minutes and 150 MB of wireless data. Or customers can choose the $30/mo talk and text plan, which features 200 local minutes as well as unlimited text, picture and video messages.! Both plans include voicemail and caller ID (when you click the link, click “bonus offers” for details).
To add to that, they’re encouraging people to bring their own unlocked phones to Rogers to save even more until March 31st. Customers can choose to save $5/mo when they activate the unlocked device on a talk and text postpaid plan or $10/mo on a talk, text and internet postpaid plan before March 31st. Customers can go to a Rogers store to get hooked up.
While these offers are only available for a limited time, if a customer signs up at the promo price, the promo price will continue to apply for so long as the customer maintains the plan.
Sounds like a deal to me.
UPDATE: I had forgotten to include in the email that the Nokia Lumia offers goes until March 18th.
