iOS 7.1.1 has a new lock screen bypass bug, and this one is nasty as it allows someone to bypass the lock screen in seconds. Here’s the requisite video:
Now this one requires control center to be active on the lock screen and you have to had missed a call. So protecting yourself is easy. Simply disable control center on your lock screen. You can do that by following these steps:
Settings
Control Center
Access on Lock Screen
Set it to off OFF
Lock screen bugs seem to be a real issue with iOS that keeps happening for whatever reason. I think that Apple really has to step up their efforts to secure iOS to keep this sort of thing from happening over and over again in the future.
