It’s easy to get caught up in what’s new and cool from Apple. But I’ve been around long enough to know that when Apple announces something, some other product is going to disappear. Today, that product is the iPod Classic. If you look under the iPod section of the Apple Store, it has disappeared. I’m not shocked by this as Tim Cook recently said that the iPod was a “declining business.” But it is sad to see it go.
