In another sign that Vista sucks Microsoft is advancing the state of the art, Bill Gates has publicly mused that the currently codenamed “Windows 7” may ship sometime next year. Wow. That’s way faster than the 2010 or 2011 timeframe that has been mentioned by Microsoft for a while now. Of course that may just be Gates being completely out of the loop at Microsoft as he’s really not involved in the day to day activities of that company anymore since “the chair throwing one” took over. Or it could be a sign of how bad things are.
I suspect we’ll find out shortly.
