Looks like BlackBerry addicts users in India may have to go cold turkey. According to this Reuters story, India has asked telecom companies not to provide certain BlackBerry services until monitoring systems are in place. If you’ve been keeping track of this soap opera, the last round of talks were going so well that nobody thought this was going to happen. One thing to keep in mind is that this is a Junior Minister saying this, so take it for whatever it’s worth. Still, if you’re reading this from India and you are a BlackBerry user, you may wish to come up with a plan “b” just in case.
