It seems that 8,002,530 downloaded FireFox 3 in a 24 hour period which help to set the official world download record. E-mails have just gone out to participants and this was just posted to spreadfirefox.com. You can even download a certificate showing your participation.
I’m guessing that a chair or two are being thrown in a office in Redmond at the moment.
