Apple has posted this press release that says that despite all of the activation problems and shortages of product in some places, they managed to sell a million iPhone 3Gs in three days. Apple took almost a year to sell that many original iPhones, so it is impressive. Apple has a goal of selling ten million iPhones world wide by the end of the year. That’s a lofty goal, but given how the last three days have gone it is possible.
