It seems that Apple and NBC are still not best friends despite the fact that NBC shows are back on iTunes. NBC has claimed that Apple folded up like cheap suits caved to it’s demands for about pricing and packaging shows together. NBC is apparently offering some titles for $0.99 as well as package deals that could offer customers a bulk discount. Apple’s Eddy Cue shot back saying that Apple is not NBC’s bitch no such thing happened as apparently NBC are free to offer lower prices if they’re so inclined:
“We’ve never told anyone they can’t lower prices,” Cue said.
Cue also claims that the higher $2.99 price introduced on Tuesday is their standard price for HD content. Is that the truth? Who knows?
All I know is that this story is not over yet.
