iPhone/iPod Touch OS 3.0 Hits The Streets

You might want to plug your iPhone or iPod Touch into iTunes now and do a sync as well as a check for updates. That’s because iPhone/iPod Touch OS 3.0 is now available. This update is free for iPhone users, but $9.95 for iPod Touch users. If you’ve downloaded this and installed it, please post a comment and let us know what you think of it. Also if something goes south and you have a solution to fix it, that would be good to know as well.

Well, tried to do the update, and after iTunes said my phone was up to date and ready to use, it is now stuck on emergency calls with no service only. Cannot access anything on the phone at all. On hold with Apple now, but of course, they are not much help.
