Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last day or so, you have to know that the most wanted man on planet earth is now dead. Imagine being right there when it happened and Tweeting it to the world. Sohaib Athar who is better known as @ReallyVirtual on Twitter was complaining about some helicopters at 1AM local time:
“Helicopter hovering above Abbottabad at 1AM (is a rare event).”
The helicopters in question were part of the top secret mission that killed Osama bin Laden Sunday night. You can read the linked story to see what else he Tweeted. Once news broke that bin Laden had been killed in Abbottabad, Athar tweeted the following:
‘Uh oh, now I’m the guy who liveblogged the Osama raid without knowing it.’”
I hope he’s got his life insurance paid up.
