A running joke in the video game industry is Duke Nukem Forever. It was announced in 1997. That’s almost 15 years ago. If you take a look at this Wikipedia page, you can see what happened next. It been pathetic. But that may be coming to an end. It was announced today that this game has done the unthinkable and gone gold. That means it’s done and it’s on it’s way to being manufactured. Expect it to show up on Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 platforms on June 10th and June 14th everywhere else. Just don’t buy it for your kids as it has a mature rating.
