I got an e-mail from Fido yesterday with some interesting news:
Today, Fido and Evergreen launched Fido Share Your Care which is a campaign to support local environmental and community projects. From July 5th to August 14th, Canadians are invited to vote through Facebook for their favourite project on the Share Your Care website.
Fido will share $100,000 among 20 different local projects across Canada. Each of the 20 projects will receive base support of $2,500 each and the remaining $50,000 will be distributed between the three projects which receive the most votes.
Canadians should take a look at http://www.shareyourcare.ca and take a look at what projects are in their area. It sounds very interesting and I’ll be talking a look at this campaign.
