Rogers has been busy lately expanding all over the place. Yesterday, I got a note from Rogers announcing their latest expansion:
We’re expanding LTE markets for our customers and we’re thrilled to announce that our LTE Max network is now live in:
- La Baie, QC
- Victoriaville, QC
- Expanding coverage in Quebec City and Trois-Rivieres
- Saint John, NB
- Parksville, BC
- Expanding coverage in Victoria, BC
- Halifax Expansion, NS
LTE Max is our premium network made up of dual frequency 2100 MHz and 2600 MHz bands. Rogers has the largest nationally deployed LTE Max network that gives our customers access to the fastest wireless speeds in Canada on our premium LTE Max devices, like the Samsung Galaxy S4, the HTC One or BlackBerry Q10.
So you’ll be able to surf at higher speeds in more places across Canada. Nice. I also think we’ll be seeing more LTE spectrum being lit up shortly. Call it a hunch.
