Rogers Posts Their Latest Innovation Report

I like reading the Rogers Innovation Reports as they tend to have lots of interesting info that’s relevant to Canadians. In the latest edition of the Innovation Report, Rogers reveals the different ways Canadians watch entertainment and the influence of mobile devices in these habits:

  • Canadians out of 10 owning a mobile device use their mobile device while watching TV, 33% use a smartphone or phablet and 15% a tablet
  • More than 80% Canadians are practicing marathon TV watching and have watched 3 or more TV episodes or 2 movies. Among them 58% have done so over a smartphone or phablet. Do you see yourself spending more than 4 hours in a row watching your smartphone?
  • Using a mobile device means people get out of their couch and watch TV content on their mobile in their bed , while eating alone or when doing chores. It’s TV everywhere!

Not only that, but this edition of the Innovaton report has the ability to create a personalized interactive infographicIt will reveal your personalized TV persona and how you compare to fellow Canadians sharing the same TV profile as you. The infographic is sharable via Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest but can also be emailed, or downloaded. Here’s what I got when I answered the questionnaire:
