After Apple was forced to pull iOS 8.0.1 from public distribution due to Touch ID and cellular connectivity issues that affected iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users, you knew that Apple had to do something quickly. Late yesterday, Apple posted this document that speaks to how to fix your iPhone if it is in this state. It also had this interesting tidbit:
The Health app won’t work in iOS 8 after these steps. It will be fixed in our upcoming iOS 8.0.2 software update.
Clearly, Apple is going to get that update out quickly. Do not be surprised if they’re working overtime to get it out in the next few days. Hopefully they bother to test it properly this time.
