Late today, this Tweet appeared on the @Bell_News Twitter feed:
You might remember him as the guy who got so ticked off that he dialed up CTV News which Bell Media owns and asked them to change how they covered a story on the CRTC requiring cable companies to provide a new regulated basic cable package to Canadians along with “pick and pay” options. Now he’s left. One wonders if he was asked to leave because of the crapstorm that he caused. Clearly he was enough of a distraction that he and Bell had to part ways. Frankly, he’s only part of the problem. Methinks that Bell has to pay the price too.
