Tim Cook Goes On ABC News And Calls iPhone Unlocking A “Cancer”
The Apple vs. FBI standoff has taken a twist that I think you’ll find interesting. Apple CEO Tim Cook went onto ABC News last night and said this:
“The only way to get information — at least currently, the only way we know — would be to write a piece of software that we view as sort of the equivalent of cancer. We think it’s bad news to write. We would never write it. We have never written it — and that is what is at stake here,”

Now I get that he’s defending himself. I also get that sometimes people say things in the heat of the moment that may not have been wise to say. But perhaps using a cancer reference may not have been one of those wise things to say in the heat of the moment while defending yourself as cancer isn’t exactly a trivial subject. Maybe I’m just being overly sensitive here. Thus I’m going to put this out there in the form of a poll and see what you think:
