The two parties will be in front of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the topic will be how the use of encryption in tech products and services hampers law enforcement activities. Oh, if you were going to tune in to find out how the FBI cracked that iPhone 5C, don’t bother. The FBI wouldn’t be able to divulge that info even if it wanted to because it likely has no idea. Also, if you were planning to tune in to find out what cool things they found on said iPhone, don’t bother. It seems nothing of value was found. Thus this makes me wonder if it was worth the effort on the part of the FBI to go after Apple.
