Starting today, new or renewing Telus customers looking to purchase the latest premium smartphones at a more affordable upfront cost, can now do so with Telus’ new Premium Plus plan.
How it works
When customers purchase a new premium smartphone at Telus like a Samsung Galaxy S7 or iPhone 6s, they now have the option to pay a lower upfront cost by signing up for the new Premium Plus plan. For example, if a customer purchases the iPhone 6s on a 2.5GB Premium Plus plan, they’ll pay $200 upfront (instead of $400) and only about $10 more per month for their rate plan including unlimited nationwide calling, call display, Voice Mail 25, call waiting and conference calling.
In a nutshell: with Premium Plus, customers pay less upfront and slightly more over the course of their two-year term to make up for the difference. This is great for those of us who value lower upfront costs. Customers who are more rate plan conscious may find that our other Your Choice rate plans are a better fit for them. It’s all about giving our customers more options!
Of note: All premium smartphones can be purchased on a Premium Plus plan.
Check telus.com for more details on the eligible devices and voice and data plan options.
