Consumer Product Safety Commission has once again issued a recall for the Galaxy Note 7. This time it’s for every phone including for replacement units. The problem is, that it’s apparently become “a thing” as the kids say to hold onto the phones. This despite the fact that they blow up and catch fire. So, to encourage users to turn in their phones, Samsung has decided to offer users $100 to hand them over. But methinks it’s also an incentive to buy their loyalty as well as cover the costs of any accessories that one of these owners might have bought. Such as cases and the like.
I must admit, it’s an interesting strategy. One has to wonder if this will spread to other places on Earth.
Stay tuned.
