Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 was today banned from all airplanes and flights in the United States by the Department of Transportation, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration. That means if you still have this phone for whatever bizarre reason, bringing it onto a plane will get you into deep trouble. As in fines and criminal prosecution.
That’s not trivial.
This is simply anotber incentive for you to simply return the phone to Samsung and take Samsung’s bribe incentive t0 do so. Really. It the proper and safe thing to do.
