You think Adult Friend Finder would have learned their lesson after having 3.5 million accounts compromised. But clearly not as breach notification site LeakedSource has reported that 339 million accounts on AdultFriendFinder and more than 60 million from sister site Cams.com were exposed by the breach. It claimed leaked data included 15 million “deleted” accounts that had not been correctly purged from the compromised AFF database, a copy of which has been obtained by LeakedSource. The apparent breach took place in October 2016, and included historical data for the past 20 years on six FriendFinder Networks (FFN) properties: Adultfriendfinder.com, Cams.com, Penthouse.com, Stripshow.com. iCams.com, and an unknown domain.
#Fail.
Clearly the humans behind Adult Friend Finder haven’t been doing enough to make sure that the site is secure. Thus users should punish them in the most significant way that they can. If they must be looking for “adult friends” they may wish to use another site as clearly this one clearly cannot keep their metaphorical pants up from a security standpoint. The loss of income may finally encourage them to do so.
