Apple Routers Named #1 In Customer Satisfaction… Right After Being Deep Sixed

Fresh off apparently killing off the group behind Apple AirPort routers, comes this news from J.D. Power that Apple beat out  wireless router vendors such as Linksys, DLink, Asus, and TP-Link to grab the number 1 spot. Apple was the only company to receive a 5-star Power Circle consumer rating, which places it “among the best” according to J.D. Power. The report, based on responses from 3,037 consumers, measured overall satisfaction across 10 factors: Wi-Fi range; reliability; speed of upload/download; restore connection easily; security capabilities; price; ease of use; variety of features; intuitive user interface; and customer service.

While I would like to think that this would make Apple reconsider their decision to get out of the router market, I do not see them changing their minds on this. Which is a shame as they are great routers.
