Apple Updates Boot Camp To Save Your 2016 MacBook Pro Speakers

You might recall that I posted a story on the fact that using Boot Camp on the new MacBook Pros caused at the very least “popping” sounds, and at worst could damage your speakers. Apple today posted an update that is available via Software Update on Windows that contains new audio drivers that resolves this issue. If you use Boot Camp on your new MacBook Pro, you should run software update inside your Windows install to make sure you get these new drivers.

I must admit that this was a quick turnaround between the time that this became public to this fix coming out. Kudos to Apple on that front. Now let’s seem them do the same thing with that GPU issue, or that three finger drag issue.
