Arcitecta to Showcase Digital Asset Management System and Bring Together Research Community at eResearch Australasia

Arcitecta today announced it will demonstrate its Mediaflux® DAMS digital asset management system for the research industry at eResearch Australasia, October 26-30, 2026, in Melbourne, Australia at Booth 04-CE. Arcitecta will be co-located with its strategic partners Spectra Logic and DDN, showcasing world-class research data management architectures.

Mediaflux DAMS is a powerful digital asset management solution designed for institutions managing complex, large-scale datasets and high-throughput data workflows. It provides an intuitive, fully customizable interface for storing, describing and accessing digital assets at scale, powered by extensible and actionable metadata.

Arcitecta will also showcase Mediaflux® Connect 365, an active data management solution for universities facing the Microsoft 365 Education storage policy changes. Built on the Arcitecta Mediaflux platform, it provides a single system for managing, cataloging and governing billions of files and petabytes of data of any type across any storage mix.

Research Data Management (RDM) Community of Practice Workshop

On Friday, October 30, 2026, Arcitecta is hosting an event for the Australian RDM community at the University of Melbourne. Rising storage costs and increasingly complex, petabyte-scale research environments are driving the need for more effective data management strategies. The event will provide a forum for RDM professionals and technology designers to exchange knowledge, share best practices and explore collaborative approaches to managing research data at scale.

Presentations will encapsulate the University of Melbourne Research Computing Services’ lessons learned from institutional research data management transformation and recent large-scale data migration and the University of New South Wales’ RDM architecture overhaul and roadmap. Extended conversations and Q&A sessions will also delve into the TigerData RDM undertaking at Princeton University and the fundamental question of how to measure data.

The Mediaflux user group session will follow the Community of Practice conversations, further strengthening community connections and fostering ongoing collaboration around the challenges and opportunities of research data management.
