Just mere weeks after rolling out the massive 10.5.3, MacOS X 10.5.4 hits the streets. The key highlights include:
- Addresses AirPort reliability issues with 5GHz networks.
- Improves L2TP VPN client reliability.
- Resolves an issue with saving and reopening Adobe Creative Suite 3 files on a remote server. (This is a major issue for creative types)
- There’s a new version of Safari included with this update.
If you want to see the full list, click here. This update also delivers a bunch of security updates as well. You can see that list here as well. The combo update (for users upgrading from 10.5 – 10.5.2) is available here. People upgrading from 10.5.3 can get their update here. Keep in mind that 10.5.4 was a required update for MobileMe as well as the iPhone 3G.
10.4.11 users shouldn’t feel left out. Apple delivered a new version of Safari as well as a security update (click here for Intel or click here for PPC) for those users.
Download away!
UPDATE: I noticed that 10.5.4 updates Apple Mail as well. I’m guessing that it has something to do with MobileMe.
