Here’s a sure sign that Apple has hit the big time. It reported more vulnerabilities than any other vendor according to an IBM authored security report (Warning: PDF). Apple rose from second place in 2007 to take the top spot away from Microsoft, which had fallen into third place behind open source content management system Joomla. IBM came in fourth spot, followed by Sun, while Oracle and Cisco were sixth and seventh respectively.
Apple has long been brainwashing its users into believing saying that its software is far better designed than that of Microsoft. But this report should have Apple Fanbois rethinking their position.
