If you’ve got a T-Mobile G1 phone, you should be getting a notice for an update to your phone. According to IT World, it fixes that browser flaw that I told you about on Oct. 25th. That was a quick fix. Microsoft, Apple, are you paying attention? Perhaps Google got the fix out quickly because of all the attention that was given to this flaw? Perhaps it wouldn’t have been fixed so quickly if that didn’t happen? I’d like to think that it would have been fixed just as quickly if there wasn’t media attention put on the flaw. But I’m a pragmatist. The media attention likely made things move along much more quickly.
