Apparently, Macs don’t need antivirus protection. That’s because the suggestion to add antivirus applications (that I reported on a couple of days ago) to your Mac has disappeared from Apple’s knowedgebase. I’m not sure how to read that, but I’m guessing that the optics of having to add virus protection to a Mac must have been negative. I guess that you can’t make fun of Vista without ensuring that your own house is in order first.
Oh, one thing to consider is that other than a few trojans that rely on user stupidity, there are no real viruses on the Mac platform.
