If you’re an Apple Fanboi, then you’ll love the fact that Net Applications has given Apple’s Mac OS a 9.93% share of the OS marketplace, which is up from 9.63% in December. Windows of course is still number one with 88.26% of the marketplace, but that is a drop from 88.7% in December.
Translation: Apple is gaining some of it’s marketshare at the expense of Microsoft Windows.
Some of this may explain why Apple can set record profits while Microsoft has to slash jobs. Of course the fact that Windows Vista sucks may have something to do with it as well.
